my pride and joy, my Canon PowerShot SD1000 Digital Elph. It was a gift from my grandma after she heard I wanted a camera! The SD1000 is probably my favorite just because of how nicely it fits into my pocket, she's as reliable as it gets. I take most of my pictures on it because of how fast I can pull it out and get a shot.
the first one i've bought for myself. The Aiptek 720p Hd DV! there is little to no information on the specific model i have, i mostly bought it because it was one of the like 4 tested ones i could find, but it also looked stupid. and it functions stupidly as well. This is the definition of junk and clank, i love it, does it not only double but triple as a mp3 play and voice recorder? Why does taking a photo have its own button? Why are there 4 settings total and none of them are volume??
ohh my god so i went thrifting for the first time and went to a really small place near my house, its entirely run by really really old ladies. I gasped the second i saw this camera because its in basically perfect condition. And it was 1 dollar. $1. One United States Dollar. I checked inside and there was a battery and tried turning it on but it instantly died.
I looked around right next to it and there was a blue case that was also a dollar that looked like it would fit the camera perfectly. It had a charger and another battery inside. I really felt like I was dreaming. Best part is when i went to the register, they were both half off. 05 cent camera babey.
bought this recenly and really happy about it. Im bringing it with me on my trip all jully so i dont have any pictures form it yet but its so cool!!
also its so hard to buy mini dvds oh my god. I tried to buy ones of amazon twice becaue i didnt want to pay $33 usd for 5 discs with 30min of recording time. If you have a camcoder with min dvds just look on ebay for them..
Shes im mint condition ill tell you that. I was watching videos of people reviewing this one and one guy said they went for around 50(usd) on ebay. Its like 70 now and the video was like 3 years old augghhhh. Anyway i was NOT excited to cough that up and the batteries and film so i kept my eye on a few. I found one, barely used but untested but looked brand new And with the bag.
One day it dropped to 50 and I bought it within the hour.
when my olympus showed up in the mail i took it around the house and showed everyone my new camera as usual. But my mom and my aunt were unimpressed, my mom told me she might have gone through 2 of the same camera. I asked her where her old ones could be and thus set off for the attic! Its old, creaky, dusty, hot, prone to leaking, and holds still wrapped vhs tapes of the lord of the rings movies. If only I could say why. This camera was near that box! and probably belongs to my old upstairs neighbor
loosely in order
